Trauner Fay Designs is a full service, high-end residential and commercial interior design firm located in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Established in 1997, Trauner Fay Designs for over 26 years has been working with clients in Jackson Hole and around the country to design custom residential and commercial interiors that transform office space and homes into warm and comforting environments.
Full service interior design is more than just picking colors or choosing furniture. It starts with listening to and learning from our clients – their wants, needs, desires and goals. We then work with you every step of the way, whether you are starting from scratch or considering a remodel. Our certified and professional team provides space planning, design consultation, computer-aided design, vendor interface, logistical support, installation and everything in-between. We handle all the headaches so you can relax and enjoy the outcome!
Our clients constantly tell us that it is obvious we love what we do. We are convinced this approach is one of the main reasons Trauner Fay Designs has flourished during both strong and difficult economic times. Trauner Fay Designs is also an integral member of our local community. We are members of the Jackson, WY Chamber of Commerce, and have given our time, service and efforts to many outstanding local and national charitable organizations, including the Teton Science Schools, the Community Resource Center (serving needy families), the Grand Teton Music Festival, The Teton County School District, the Forsyth Humane Society and the Foundation Fighting Blindness, among others. TERRY TRAUNER
As a Co-Founder of Trauner Fay Designs over 26 years ago, I am excited to combine my passion for design with my business, financial and organizational expertise for one overriding purpose – to ensure that our clients receive the impeccable service care and attention they deserve – every time on every project. I have worked hard to earn a reputation built on honesty, integrity, communication and service. While I enjoy working with clients on design matters, much of my work goes on behind the scenes – working with vendors, suppliers, shippers, bankers and others to make sure our talented team has all the support it needs to turn artistic vision into practical reality. I work on and/or oversee every one of our projects to ensure we get it right.
During the rare time that I am not working on or thinking about our clients’ projects and needs, I can be found spending time with my husband and two sons, on my road bike, hiking the great outdoors or back-country x-country skiing in Grand Teton National Park. Living in Jackson Hole is truly a dream adventure that I am lucky to be living and bringing with me every day to my work.
KRISTIN FAY, ASID, IIDA
As a Partner, and lead designer, for Trauner Fay Designs, this job is literally a dream come true. My interest in interior design began as a child growing up in Jackson Hole, and I have never looked back. I earned an undergraduate degree in interior, fashion and textile design at the University of Wyoming. After graduation, I gained valuable knowledge and experience working for a design firm in Scottsdale, AZ. Eventually, after several years of city life, I felt the tug of family and mountain living and moved back to my hometown to the surroundings I love so much. As a designer, my main focus is on getting to know our clients and gaining a deeper understanding of how they live and work. I am dedicated to creating and designing beautiful spaces that are unique to each client’s needs, budget and lifestyle. Interior design is truly my passion. As a certified member of ASID and IIDA, I believe strongly in continuing to grow my skills as well as improving the quality of my chosen profession. When I’m not working, you may find me boating on Jackson Lake or somewhere in the mountains of Jackson Hole skiing with my family.
